David W. Chapman

Dr. David W. Chapman is Assistant Professor of New Testament and Biblical Archaeology at Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri. He also serves as Curator of the W.H. Mare Institute for Biblical and Archaeological Studies located on campus. Dr. Chapman took over the excavations of Abila in 2004 after the untimely death of the original project director, Dr. Harold Mare.
