Richard A. Freund

Richard A. Freund is co-director of the Bethsaida Excavations with Rami Arav and is involved the expedition to the Cave of Letters. He is also Director of the Maurice Greenberg Center for Judaic Studies at the University of Hartford.

Dr. Freund’s most recent publications are Secrets of the Cave of Letters: Rediscovering a Dead Sea Mystery (Humanity Books, 2004) and Bethsaida, a City by the Northern Shores of the Sea of Galilee , Volumes 1, 2 and 3, co-edited with Dr. Rami Arav (Harry Truman Univ. Press, 2004).
