    My Shiny New Trowel

         Today was the first day my shiny new trowel ever hit an archaeological site.  The site , Tell Ashkelon, one of the five Pentapolis cities of the Philistines from prophets of the Bible.  The day began briskly at 4:30 in the morning.  We had a quick first breakfast at the Dan Gardens Hotel and were bussed the 2 miles to the site.  At the compound we removed the buckets goofas, brushes, trowels, scoops, wheel barrows, patishes, wheel barrows, and the generator.  I was assigned to clean grid #38.  What were we cleaning?  Well, the normal
